I’m Tricia Tamkin. I live outside Chicago with a family full of people who all have opinions about what I buy. You’ll see those opinions all over this site.
I’m the person my friends text when they need a product recommendation. I read every review, test the returns, and know which version is the good one. I’ve been doing this informally for decades. This site makes it official.

When I’m not testing heating pads or arguing with my husband about which phone is better, I’m working. And that work is worth knowing about.
The professional side.
I co-founded Moore eSSentials with my business partner Jason Thibeault. For over 16 years, we’ve trained and coached agency recruiters. More than 200 clients. More than 950 hours of proprietary content covering sales, sourcing, AI, business development, and everything in between.
I started teaching AI for recruiters two years before OpenAI launched ChatGPT. I’ve owned 50+ AI-for-industry domains since 2022. I was early, I stayed, and I know what actually works.
2026 is our final year at Moore eSSentials. We’re retiring. The work lives on in The Complete Library, everything we’ve ever created, available to the industry in perpetuity.
