Everyone has opinions. Here are theirs.
Every product on this site has been tested, fought over, or quietly stolen by someone in this household. Here’s who they are and why their taste matters.

Trish
The one behind all of this
Trish Loves
Every product on this site has my stamp. I don’t recommend things I haven’t used, repurchased, or argued about. I’ve been the person friends text for product advice for as long as I can remember. I’ve also spent 30+ years in the recruiting industry, co-founded a training company, and was teaching AI before most people could spell it. The professional details are on my About page. Here? I’m the woman who has opinions about heating pads.

Bote
The scientist
Bote Loves
Bote is a nerd in the best possible way. Everything must be sound, backed by science, logic, or at minimum a very convincing argument. He loves automation and is usually an early adopter. He also seemingly can see into the future, which is annoying and useful in equal measure. If Bote resists something and then quietly starts using it, you know it passed the toughest test in the house.

Mom
The impulse buyer with a heart of gold
Mom Loves
Mom gets sucked into every infomercial. She can’t watch TV if she can’t sleep, so she’s seen them all. She’s a little gullible, in the sweetest way possible. Instagram ads? She buys them all. Here’s the thing though: that makes her the perfect filter. If Mom loves something on this site, it means it’s actually good. She’s already been fooled by everything that doesn’t work, so the stuff that sticks with her is the real deal.

Jack
The entrepreneur
Jack Loves
Jack is a master at Pokémon, and not in a casual way. He buys and resells items as a side hustle, sells real estate, and owns a digital marketing agency. The common thread: he has an entrepreneurial eye and knows what things are worth. When Jack endorses something, it’s because the value is there. He doesn’t waste money. He invests it.

Piper
The opinionated pragmatist
Piper Loves
Piper has a unique style on a science teacher’s budget. She’s frugal, 6’2″, gorgeous, and completely unpretentious. Down to earth, loves the earth, and deeply opinionated. Feminist. Liberal. Smart as a whip. She doesn’t buy things to impress anyone. She buys things that work and last. If Piper approves something, it’s worth every penny. She’s the hardest sell in the family, and that’s saying something when Bote is in the room.
